How amazing!
Very rarely in life do we get the honor of meeting someone who radiates an enormous amount of warmth and glow about them. We had the pleasure of meeting 'MaMa', the woman behind Cameroon Estate Coffee. She does it all - grows the delicate coffee trees, picks the cherries, dries and process thebeans to ensure the quality we have today. She told us of stories growing up in Africa and laughed that life in the US is hard work, not the maintaining of a coffee estate. We thought you would enjoy seeing pictures of her visit to us, here at the warehouse-

Now about the Coffee-
Cameroon Boyo is grown in dark, nutrient rich volcanic soil at elevations exceeding 5,000 feet. The daily doses of brilliant sunshine allow the coffee berries to quickly attain their optimal sugar content -- this is essence is the secret to the mellow, aromatic, and rich full bodied Boyo coffee. Coffee beans grow on small trees and by nature are usually 2 flat beans to a cherry. Peaberry beans on the other hand contain a single round bean instead of the two beans -- the flavor that was to be shared with two beans is now concentrated into one.
